TYPICAL FISHING DEPTH FINDER SYSTEM
A complete fish finder / sonar system consists of…
1. Chartplotter Display
Choose an Element or Axiom series chartplotter with built-in sonar capabilities or add a Raymarine sonar module for fish finder capabilities
2. Sonar Module
Raymarine sonar modules are remotely mounted, network-compatible CHIRP fish-finders for Raymarine Axiom chartplotters. Add a remote sonar module to upgrade to more power output and offshore performance
3. GPS Antenna / Sensor
GPS sensors are integrated into every Raymarine chartplotter display, allowing you to navigate to your favorite fishing spots, record tracks, and discover fertile fishing grounds. Optional external GPS Sensors and antennas are available when your chartplotter display does not have a clear view of the sky.
4. Fish Finder Transducer
Finally, you will need a transducer. Transducers transmit and receive sonar signals converted into fish finder images on your chartplotter display. The type of transducer required depends on the chartplotter display you're using, your vessel type and your engine location.
